Installation Instructions:
Efficient SpeedStream 5360 120-5360-502 (060-5360-023) Firmware Upgrade

Check your modem's part number before installing the firmware upgrade. The box in which the modem was shipped should list the part number as 120-5360-520. The bottom of your modem should display the part number as 060-5360-023.

If your modem has these part numbers, follow these installation steps after you've downloaded the firmware upgrade file.

  1. Close all applications.
  2. Connect the 5360 directly to your PC.
  3. Turn on and fully boot the modem.
  4. If you are using a 10 Base-T connection, quickly turn the modem off and then on again.
  5. Double-click the "5360_upgrade.exe" file.
  6. In the window that appears, click the Download Firmware button.


  7. You'll see a status indicator of the upgrade's progression.

  8. You'll be informed when the download is complete. Click OK.

  9. A dialog will appear saying that the firmware is currently up to date. You should click Ok to close the program. The upgrade is complete.
